It is a 1/2HP, 220V/60HZ/1PH pump with a maximum flow rate of 25 GPM and a maximum head of 150 feet. The stainless steel shell and cast iron intake make it a durable and heavy-duty unit, suitable for both industrial and home applications.
The pump features a patented impeller design that delivers higher performance and longer life compared to many other well pumps. It has a solid stainless steel body with a heavy-duty cast iron discharge. The thermoplastic impellers, diffusers, and intake screen further enhance its ruggedness and reliability.
Equipped with a 1/2 HP capacitor start and a thermal protection switch, this pump offers a powerful start and extended lifespan. The built-in control box eliminates the need for an external control box, simplifying the installation process.
Powered by a high-quality, UL-approved motor (UL file No.: E233961), this 2-wire pump comes with a 3-wire (2 wires + ground) electric cord that is 10 feet long. The 1.25" NPT discharge makes it compatible with a wide range of plumbing systems.
The submersible design of this pump eliminates the need for priming and ensures quiet operation. Additionally, the high-efficiency, hermetically sealed motor with thermal protection uses less energy and prevents overheating, contributing to its overall performance and longevity.
It is important to note that the maximum head of 150 feet is for an open water tank. When used with pressure tanks, the maximum head will be reduced. Customers are advised to consult the "Selection Guide" for more details.
An installation manual and a tape kit are included with the purchase. Free technical support is available during the installation process.
The manufacturer offers a 12-month limited warranty on this deep well submersible pump.
For 4-inch well casings, the recommended pumps are the MA0460X-9A or the MA0459X-14A models. This 1/2HP, 220V/60HZ/1PH pump is suitable for 5-inch or larger well casings.
